Assuming you are healthy, have a voracious appetite and ability of La Rioja and beer by travelers to a real city. The best way to travel, with few exceptions, is still standing and is an excellent way to keep calories while enjoying a fantastic range of cuisine from Barcelona.
A street performer in Las Ramblas, Barcelona.
In keeping with our theme, we will plan an attack 24 hours in the Catalan capital and explore the corners of this vibrant city in a time that many travelers have chosen or been forced to be content ‘. So grab your backpack and thousands of euros and we will leave.
We must first find a place to stay, there are many options, however, as with any popular city to make the money can be a difficult challenge. As it is quick and dirty I suggest Alberguin or hostel near the Barcelona Sants train station (ideal for a quick getaway) or the Inn of Kabul, on Plaza Real next to La Rambla (center), the choice is yours.
With the way it is time to explore! If you’re with friends or want a good place to start the Plaza de Catalunya is an excellent choice, airport bus from here and there a subway station with multiple connections. Going down the Rambla street artists spend a collection of posts and livestock, rather surprising in a tourist area. Hang a quick left and the Gothic quarter, probably the most visited area of the city with its winding streets and magnificent cathedral of Barcelona. After Pottering here for a while there is time to jump meter to the unfinished Sagrada Familia. The view on the street is surreal to walk a complete circuit to get a good feeling before entering, and you should plan your time carefully to avoid a long queue entry.
The Gothic Quarter is accessible through arcades like these during the quarter
It’s time to exercise, take the metro to the funicular to Montjuic and follow the path to the top of the hill to the impressive castle fantastic views of the city of Barcelona and the Mediterranean. After a quick cold drink in the bar, head down to the National Museum of Catalan Art culture a bit more in this impressive building, with its fountains and cascading views of the Plaça d’Espanya.
A visit to Barcelona would be complete without a tribute to Gaudi, so they go to Park Guell, armed with plenty of water and good shoes. You can not do justice to this place in such a short time, however, if your trip is a good idea to put in
Now, you must be dead on feet or lower legs of steel so that the time must be tapas, oh how I love those words! Barcelona has a wide selection that includes specialties from the Basque region and one or two other special offers. Let me start right next to the Royal Plaza in the tavern in Bari Gothic Mikel Etxaya of Ferran Square – This lively bar offers a wide range of finger foods on the screen and tables for dining, but it is much more fun than battling for the bar and the point of their options. One thing to remember is that, here as in most others, you pay for the caps on the numbers issued by the toothpicks left on your plate later. After one or two we’ll go walk to the Born in the square of the Argenteria, and sit at the table near the old church of Santa Maria del Mar. The area is full of the season and several tapas bars premium from elegant restaurants to more traditional basis.
Barcelona at night, drink a glass or two shells
For those who want something more substantial than suggested by the irrepressible Caracoles restaurant, place a block south of the Plaza Real and this restaurant is eccentric. The building has a maze of rooms and tables are always packed solid at the restaurant entrance is actually in the kitchen where the chefs and throw flaming knives passes dishes seemingly oblivious to traffic around standing speechless when they pass through. Even if you do not eat, it’s worth jumping into the bar where, if you’re lucky, you’ll be entertained by the famous bartender, a guy that participation will make you laugh at the same time as you make them happy. The area to the rear of this bar is the place where they are the creme brulee with a hot iron to burn enormous sugar, is an incredible spectacle.
