Paris

City of light and dreams, Paris, like most large cities, is a collection of villages or small towns that have their history, their perfumes, their charm and their way of life. Difficulty in walking at Les Halles, to imagine the atmosphere of the rue Mouffetard, one of the rue Lepic, or the Butte-aux-Cailles. Stroll avenues in streets, walking the banks of the Seine without predefined program, and enjoy the majesty of the capital.

Thousands of views and monuments
At the center of the Paris Basin, between the confluence of the Marne, the Oise and the Seine, the city is located on a bend of the river and has two islands (the City to the west and St. Louis to the east ) derives its historic heart. Thirty bridges allow the passage from one bank to another as the magnificent Alexandre III bridge or Pont de l’Alma. But two other rivers through the capital: the Bièvre completely underground and the Canal Saint-Martin 4.5 km long.

The quays of the Seine, the Pont de Sully bridge of Bir Hakeim, is one of the most beautiful urban river and are also listed on the inventory of the world heritage of Unesco. These include, from east to west: the Louvre, the Invalides, the Pont Alexandre-III, the Grand Palais, the Musée du quai Branly, the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero. The Gothic art has its place in the city, on the Ile de la Cite, the cathedral dear to Victor Hugo, Notre-Dame de Paris, or the Sainte Chapelle. The classical period brought some treasures like the church of the Sorbonne, the Louvre museum or the Invalides. It was in the nineteenth century and the holding of the exhibition of 1900 that many monuments were built in the capital, the Arc de Triomphe, the covered passageways, the opera Garnier and the famous Iron Lady or the Tour Eiffel .
Other buildings are scattered in different neighborhoods in a more contemporary style as the French National Library, Art Center George Pompidou and the Tour Montparnasse.

Paris

This need for freshness and greenery led mayors to install parks and gardens in number. The historic garden of the Tuileries, that of plants, first public park, and the Luxembourg are facing competition from newer places like the Park Monceau and the Parc de la Villette.
