The Nabatean civilization, Greek, Roman and Byzantine on this earth and left their footprints in stone. Many rich archeological sites such as sites of Petra and Jerash, Jordan also offers many opportunities routes: from the slopes of the salt desert of white sand beaches of the Gulf of Aqaba, through the edge of the sea dead at the foot of Mount Nebo.

Hospitality

Undoubtedly the highlight of Jordan. You will be offered tea just for the pleasure of exchanging a few words and you will never hesitate to help when problems arise. Jordan is also a very safe country for tourists.

Concentration

Jordan has an area of 91 840 km2. But two thirds of this surface is occupied by a desert of stones. Cities and tourist attractions therefore focus on a small territory that it travels easily or quickly if one is pressed.

History and culture

Jordan is not just for lovers of archeology. Lovers of old buildings will be certainly thrilled with Petra, the city carved in the rock rose, Jerash, Umm Qais and Pella, the ancient cities of the Greco-Roman Decapolis. It will also visit medieval fortresses Ajlun, Kerak and Shobak.

Activities

You can dive and swim all year in Aqaba, relax in the spa complex of the Dead Sea, nature lovers will be delighted and can not choose between that trip camel in the beautiful desert of Wadi Rum, Birding at Azraq, canyoning in the Wadi Mujib hikes or “scenic” unforgettable in the Dana Nature Reserve.

Jordan is a very sunny and a destination where you can visit all year round (even though the summer, very hot, is not necessarily the best time to explore the country).

The country is home to several places mentioned in the Bible which the presumed site of the baptism of Christ. For centuries, Muslims, Christians and Jews have moved on this land and have marked their footprint.
