The city of Malaga is located in a privileged natural enclave. The township has an area of 398.25 square kilometers and its population actually in the metropolitan area reached a million.Geographical and environmental factors that have affected a more significant in the development and evolution of the city have been the marine influence, the location of the town on two river valleys (and Guadalhorce Guadalmedina), its topography and its climate system.

The other river that has intervened decisively in the history of the city is the Guadalmedina in Arabic “the river of the city.” It’s 47 kilometers long, and get most of the water input to arrive from the Montes de Malaga.

Montes de Malaga Natural Park have been declared in 1989, which entailed greater protection. The protected area covers 4762 hectares, of which 97% belong to the municipality of Malaga. Cathedral with it’s Museum

The Cathedral of the Incarnation stands on the site of the Mosque-Aljama, or mosque of the city, during the eight centuries of Muslim rule. Artola/Cabo Pino

Nudist beach in a protected area called Dunas de Artola, with half a degree of occupation. It is one of the few nude beaches that are close to Marbella. It is one of the most charming Marinas on the Costa del Sol, El Puerto de Cabopino, as well as three bars and beach camping. This beach has a service for pedal boats and windsurfing for the more daring.
